Te Whakarewarewa

비도 억수같이 오는데 비맞고 30분을 걸어가서 tour 시작!
Mud pool도 있고, 땅에서 온천수가 막 뿜어져 나오고.. 연기가 계속 모락모락 나는데 너무 신기했다.
궂은 날씨에도 관광온 사람들이 어찌나 많은지.. 역시 유명한 곳이었군.. 안갔음 후회할뻔 했네 ^^;
Te Whakarewarewa 안내지에 있던거 그대로 옮겨볼까나.. 사실.. 설명하는게 쉽지가 않다 ^^;

Incredible Earth Forces
Exploding from the ground up to 30 metres high is the world famous Polutu Geyser - an awesome display of mother nature's power. Ten to 20 times a day it bursts into Life; a tourist attraction since the early 1900's.

벽에 반짝반짝 거리는게 Paua다. 조개 안쪽에 반짝거리는 부분.
우리나라 말로하면 자개인가? ^^; 암튼 이쁘다.
건물안에서 촬영금지라던데.. 그냥 배째고 찍었다.. ^^;
